Courage to Freefall With Jesus

Eunice Vatran (daughter) and Marioara Dugulescu (wife) share the story of the Romanian pastor, writer, poet, humanitarian activist, revolutionary leader and politician Petru Dugulescu. During the years of communism in Romania, under the dictatorship of Nicolae Ceausescu, Petru Dugulescu endured many years of persecution, hardship, several assassination attempts and continuing blackmail and surveillance by the Romanian secret police Securitate. At the time of the 1989 Revolution in Romania Petru Dugulescu played an important role in bringing down the communist regime, and in the post-revolution years he became a prominent political leader. He is remembered as a man of peace and a firm follower of Jesus. Eunice Vatran (daughter) and Marioara Dugulescu (wife) shared their family story at the international 2013 ROM Leadership and Reconciliation Gathering in Fuzine, Croatia in July 2013. Previously featured at bethedifference.podbean.com
